What happens

Assistant District Attorney Charles Morgan and Detective Joe Russell look into the sudden death of painter Venice O'Neill's mother, Mrs. O'Neill, at an art gallery. Venice insists her mother was poisoned and pushes for an autopsy, while Dr. Charles Cyprus, who certified the death as heart failure, pushes back. Morgan questions the gallery owner, Uncle Mitch Oblensky, and the doctor's wife, Mrs. Cyprus, about who was present and what happened in the moments before the death. This is an episode of the CBS series Suspense, originally broadcast on 1959-11-22. The story was adapted for radio by Alan Flohn from a work by Eliezer Lipsky.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
