What happens

Tom Cochran wakes after a night out with no memory of what happened, a bloodied shirt and an unfamiliar key in his pocket. His brother-in-law, San Francisco homicide detective Denny Sullivan, agrees to help him retrace the evening. Together they track down a man named Joe at a saloon, then search an apartment and a hotel, hoping to find out what Tom did before the guests must check out. Denny works the case as a detective while trying to protect his brother-in-law. The episode is part of the Suspense radio series, broadcast by CBS and presented with Preston Foster as Denny and Dane Clark as Tom.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
