What happens

Susan, an American woman, marries Renee, a French sports-car driver, and joins him on the grueling Rally des Alpes across the mountains of France, Switzerland and Italy. At the wedding party she senses that Renee's friends are uneasy around her, and his sister Marie warns her against the rally. Susan finds a photograph of Renee's late first wife, Claudette, who looks strikingly like her. Susan and Renee set out on the rally together. The story is part of the long-running radio series Suspense, first aired on June 22, 1958, with Marsha Hunt in the lead role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
