What happens
Ethan Miller, an English teacher at the junior high school in Tewkesbury, finds a notebook left on his desk by his student Mary Newhall and takes it to her house. Climbing to her study above the garage, he overhears her talking about a revolution and discovers a locked room. Mary and her friend Helen, along with a voice named Frank on the telephone, describe themselves as far more advanced than adults. Their story is part of the Suspense series, first broadcast on September 3, 1961, with Jimsy Summers and Court Benson in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
