What happens

Two American Marines, Lacey and Tabori, are stranded behind enemy lines after a patrol. Lacey, who has been telling Tabori about a paradise island he dreams of, is unsettled by Tabori's growing hostility toward him. Their night in the jungle is interrupted when they encounter a Japanese woman and a wounded man, and the two Marines are drawn into a tense standoff. Lacey and the woman, Taki, begin to form a bond as they search for a way out, and Lacey starts to believe his island dream may be real. The broadcast is part of the Suspense series and was first aired on January 12, 1958.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
