What happens
Maude Haskin returns to her apartment after a sudden rainstorm and finds a stranger living there, a small dark woman who insists the apartment has been occupied for only a few days. Maude is told that her husband Harry is linked to a murder, and she becomes unsure of what is real and what is a dream. The story is told in the first person and centers on her confusion, her growing fear of Harry, and the sense that time has shifted around her. Miss Hillary Brooke stars in this episode of Suspense, which aired on January 5, 1958.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
