What happens

Mr. Hardecker invites four strangers to dinner in his Manhattan home. Hardecker has summoned them to his home to discuss the matter. The series is Suspense, and the story is by Cornell Woolridge, adapted for radio by Robert L. Richards, first broadcast on October 26, 1943 and starring Otto Kruger.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
