What happens
Dr. Robert Graham, a psychiatrist, takes in Roger Holcomb, a man who was dead for four minutes before medical science revived him. Holcomb now compulsively tells the truth about anyone who speaks a lie in his presence. Graham's wife Isabel, a pianist whose career has stalled, is living in the household, and tension builds between the three as Holcomb's presence unsettles everyone in the house. Graham seems to take a close interest in Holcomb's unusual condition. The first part of the story follows how the household's relationships begin to strain under this strange arrangement.
A house in the drawing room and private rooms of Dr. Robert Graham's home, in the months after Roger Holcomb's return from death.

Listen for: Holcomb's compulsion to speak the truth whenever someone tells a lie, and the tension it creates between Graham, Isabel and Holcomb.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
