What happens
Gay Lansing, a dancer under contract to Zimmer Productions, learns that the studio is dropping her option and that producer J.D. Zimmer intends to cast another actress in Dark Lady. Angry and humiliated, she goes to Zimmer's house at Palm Desert and demands a new seven-year contract at 2,500 dollars a week, holding a small pearl-handled gun on him. Zimmer tries to reason with her, reminding her of old favors and of the risks she once took for him. The air-dated Suspense play of November 25, 1954 stars Virginia Christine and Joseph Kearns in the leading roles, and the transcript breaks off with the confrontation still unresolved.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
