What happens

Gloria Lafaye, a dancer, is alone in her dressing room after a theatre has emptied. Vincent Hawthorne arrives for a blind date she agreed to after receiving his note. He brings champagne and a rose, and the evening takes a tense turn as he talks of loneliness and shows an interest in her stage costume. Gloria grows increasingly uneasy about the man and his manner. The episode is part of the Suspense series, first broadcast on 1954-11-18, with Shirley Mitchell as Gloria and Vic Perrin as Vincent.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
