What happens
Edith Reed and her husband Bob, a dance team, are called to an audition late one night. After Bob is found stabbed in their apartment, Edith and her companion George Lee come under police questioning. Edith's account of the evening begins to fall apart as Lieutenant Milgram presses her on the timing of events and the telephone call made from the apartment. Suspense, the radio drama series, first aired on July 24, 1947, and this episode stars Lynn Barry as Edith Reed.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
