What happens
Ben Grace, a hotel collector for gangster Saul Casper, is ordered to collect room rent from three bank robbers hiding in room 480 after a stickup of First National. Political reformer June Lyons, working for mayoral candidate Johnson, approaches Ben with a tip about the robbery, hoping to ruin Casper. Ben learns that the robbers are dangerous and that Casper is greedy, and he begins to weigh his loyalties in a tense standoff in the hotel room. This is the Suspense radio drama of March 8, 1945, starring Humphrey Bogart and adapted from a James M. Kane novel, presented by Roma Wines.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
