What happens
Stan Eric and Eric's cabin in the mountains: Stan accepts an invitation from his old school friend Eric for a hunting trip. Stan, who married Karen, has not seen Eric since Karen's death. The two drive through a pitch-black mountain road to Eric's remote cabin perched above a lake. That night, Stan finds a stack of Eric's notes, which include strangely specific lists of ways to commit murder, and his own name appears among them. The next morning Stan wakes to find Eric's hands at his throat, and their hunting and boating outings grow increasingly tense. Eric's behavior is unsettling and Stan begins to fear for his life. The episode is a Suspense play from September 12, 1946, starring Vincent Price and Lloyd Nolan.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
