What happens
Ridge Fowler, a recent college graduate, accepts a ride from J. Stuart Belden, a well-dressed older man driving a yellow convertible. Belden gives Ridge his camel's hair coat and plays a strange game of license plate poker with the passing cars. Their evening on the coast road takes a dangerous turn when Belden suddenly tries to drive the car off the cliff. Ridge survives, makes his way to a roadside stop, and meets a woman who offers him a ride. Suspense is a radio drama series, and this episode aired on September 16, 1948, starring Gregory Peck.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
