What happens

Dundas and his wife Mary, along with the elderly Captain Mac, are fishing in dense fog off the Goodwin Sands when a German agent boards their boat and hires them to carry him back across the Channel. Mac refuses to take a stranger's money and the agent forces the crew at gunpoint. Herbert Marshall stars in this Suspense episode, which first aired on July 14, 1957. The tension rises as the agent and Dundas talk about the war and about the fate of the thirty men lost when a ship went down that morning. Dundas must decide how far he will go to keep his wife safe, and the passengers' bargain becomes a tense negotiation over money and honor.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
