What happens

Morris Brandt, assistant manager of the Carlton Plaza Hotel, has served under manager Paul Koblenz for twelve years and resents his authority. Koblenz hints that Brandt is too ambitious and that he will never be promoted while Koblenz lives. Brandt learns of a guest, Dr. Tomlinson, who keeps laboratory rats in his room for an experiment on a deadly disease. Brandt begins to plan how Koblenz might be harmed. The story is part of the Suspense series, first broadcast on September 22, 1949, with John Lund in the lead role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
