What happens

Mary Gardner, a former fashion model, is trying to leave her abusive husband, Willy Luciano, who has threatened her and her young daughter Elsie. She goes to Mr. Lyndon, a lawyer, who brings her case to Mr. Morgan, an assistant district attorney who once prosecuted Willy on a weapons charge. Morgan advises Mary to pursue a warrant of arrest for abandonment and a bond to keep the peace, while she weighs whether to go through with the divorce. Willy, meanwhile, is entangled in a dangerous plan involving a robbery. The story is adapted from a tale by Eliezer Lipsky and written for radio by Alan Sloan.

Listen for: Mr. Morgan's advice to Mary about a bond to keep the peace, and Mary's changing feelings about Willy

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
