What happens

Scott Adams learns from a newspaper that a man named Al Tinney is on trial for a murder in Capital City. Adams recognizes Tinney as a man who bumped into him in the lobby of the Guarantee Building on the day of the shooting, and he tells the police he can identify him. Adams's wife Janet is frightened by threatening phone calls and urges him to stay quiet. Captain Hale arranges for Lieutenant Neil of Capital City to escort Adams to the trial, but a series of confusing changes in plans follows. The episode is part of the Suspense series, broadcast on CBS Radio, and its lead actors include Don McLaughlin and Elspeth Eric.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
