What happens
Juror Albert Benning and his wife Anne find an envelope holding ten thousand dollars on the floor of a drugstore near their hotel in Los Angeles. A note inside suggests the money is a bribe connected to a murder trial that Albert is serving on. The couple turn the money over to the store owner and return home, where Anne begins to worry about what the note means. Albert reports the matter to the police, but the officers do not come to the apartment as promised, and the situation grows more dangerous for them.
Los Angeles, a drugstore near the Hotel Haddison, and the Benning apartment, during a sensational murder trial.

Listen for: The note found with the envelope and the reference to the Harmon trial.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
