What happens
Johnny Bradley, a geologist for an oil company in Aden, learns that Beth Shaw has been kidnapped by Sheik Fahad's tribesmen and taken into the hill country. Although the Commissioner advises him against it, Johnny sets out alone to bring her back. He reaches Fahad's fortress by posing as a guest with the tribal rights of hospitality, and he is confronted by the sheik, who claims local law. Johnny confronts the situation as the day wears on, with Beth's own feelings about her engagement and her past with him weighing heavily on the night's events.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
