What happens

Dave Reilly, newly released from San Quentin, visits his younger brother Hal King in a small northern town. Hal is a dynamite truck driver for the Colossus Powder Company, and his wife Terry welcomes Dave warmly. Hal gives Dave the chance to find honest work, but Dave's resentment of his brother's happy life grows, and his attraction to Terry becomes harder to hold back. Tensions build around a hunting trip, a bourbon bottle and a late-night confrontation. This Suspense drama, first broadcast on June 23, 1957, is starred in by Bartlett Robinson.

A small town in the northern part of the state, with a house, a nearby canyon camp and the mountain road to Convict Lake.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
