His wife Bess grows worried as his dreams intensify and his behavior changes. Harry becomes obsessed with the old quarrel, and he insists that a pistol and a confrontation are the only way to be free of Burr. Geraldine Fitzgerald and Richard Wharf star in this James Thurber story, broadcast on Suspense on June 15, 1944.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
