What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen travel to a logging camp in the North Woods after a telegram warns them of trouble there. Attacked by wolves on the way, they reach the camp, where Nancy Harmon explains that several loggers have died in strange circumstances. One logger was found frozen high in a tree he could not have climbed, and another vanished from the river. Nancy describes a local superstition about the white plague and the danger of felling trees under deep snow. The story then leads to a dramatic arrival at the cabin, where a third logger, Gaston, collapses near the door and dies before he can speak.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
