What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane visit the Metropolis Aircraft plant to witness a test of a mechanical robot pilot designed by Dr. Liveright. After the robot vanishes after a flight, Lois is nearly killed in a wind tunnel when a fan is switched on, and Superman rescues her. Clark grows suspicious of Yates Peterson, the plant's president, after overhearing a phone call with Dr. Liveright about rushing the robot's brain back together for a new test. The episode is part four of the 1943 Adventures of Superman serial, aired January 7, 1943.
