What happens
Dr. Leander Cameron, an eccentric scientist financed by the Daily Planet, has completed a model of a mechanical man that can walk, see, talk and think. His assistant Nicodemus and visiting friends Clark Kent and Lois Lane watch the successful test. The scientist's delight turns to alarm when Clark Kent produces a revolver and reveals he is not Kent at all, but a disguised man who demands the model. The episode is part three of the Adventures of Superman serial, first broadcast on January 6, 1943, with the lead actors not named in the transcript.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
