What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane visit the Metropolis Aircraft plant to witness a test of a mechanical robot pilot designed by Dr. Liverite, after the earlier disappearance of a first mechanical man. Lois nearly meets disaster in a wind tunnel when a fan is switched on, and Superman rescues her and Professor Jorgerson. Afterward, Lois and Clark hear Peterson and Dr. Liverite discussing a rushed plan to finish a second mechanical man, and Clark grows suspicious that the two men are concealing something. The episode is part two of the 1943 Superman serial storyline, first broadcast on January 5, 1943.
