What happens
Superman and Lois Lane are in trouble as this part of the Adventures of Superman picks up, following a serial episode on Mutual. Lois and Jimmy Olsen have been rescued from a warehouse where the criminal Ames held them, and Ames is handed over to the police. Days later, Clark Kent and Jimmy tease Lois about the talking cat affair, and a phone call summons Clark to police headquarters. There he meets Bruce Wayne, who shows him reports of bank burglaries with vaults ripped open and money given to charities, each report noting that the culprit must have been a Superman. The episode ends with Clark stunned by the implication that someone else is posing as Superman.
