What happens
Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne, the latter secretly Batman, investigate a series of bank robberies in villages outside Metropolis. Each bank had its vault doors or barred windows wrenched open by someone of great strength, and the stolen money was later sent to a charity. Sheriff Dawson shows them the damaged bank in Lynn Haven and describes the other break-ins. Doctor Trumbull tells them he saw a man in a blue costume with a red cape leaving the bank, which the sheriff finds hard to believe is Superman. Later, the pair visit the European War Orphans Relief Society, where the money arrived with a card. The episode is an early installment of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on January 29, 1946.
