What happens
Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne, the secret identities of Superman and Batman, investigate a series of bank robberies by a man of superhuman strength who wears a blue costume and red cape similar to Superman's. A card sent with the stolen money to the European War Orphans Relief Society is written in Kent's own handwriting, troubling him. Kent begins to wonder whether another survivor from Krypton might exist. Later he dozes off at home while waiting for Batman's call, and Batman reaches him late that night. The two rush to a village bank that has just been robbed, where witnesses describe a man flying off in a costume like Superman's. This is an episode of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series, first broadcast on January 30, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
