What happens
Superman investigates the disappearance of Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, who vanished after their wristwatches seemed to make Lois's Siamese cat speak. His search leads him from a transatlantic clipper to a jewelry store in the suburb of High Meadows, where the jeweler Crotzer insists he never sold the watches Mr. Grayson bought. Superman overhears a telephone call and then a shadowy conversation in a dingy warehouse, where a Mr. Ames and his companion Herbert plan to remove the evidence before the police arrive. The episode is part thirteen of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series, and this part was broadcast on January 25, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
