What happens
Editor Perry White has vanished after refusing to attack the World Peace Federation, and Jimmy Olsen and Boris Archenko have been captured by a gang in a basement hideout. The gang leader Leo and his men trap the two in a tiny bedroom, where Jimmy and Boris hold off the gunmen with a dresser and a door. Meanwhile Clark Kent and Inspector Henderson find a phony taxi in an alley and follow green ink stains left by Jimmy. Superman follows the same trail to the hideout. This episode of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on August 8, 1946, ends with Superman taking the gang leader's next steps in hand while Jimmy and Boris are rescued.
