What happens
Jimmy Olsen and Boris Archenko are captured by a gang after Jimmy is lured to the newspaper club by a phone call. Clark Kent and Lois Lane, meanwhile, suspect that Homer Smith, the new representative of publisher John Grayson, is behind the disappearance of editor Perry White. Clark argues that Smith is using fear to gain control of the Daily Planet so he can fight the World Peace Federation. When Inspector Henderson learns that a patrol car found an abandoned taxi behind the newspaper club, the three set out to follow the lead. The Adventures of Superman is a radio series, and this part was broadcast on August 7, 1946. The episode ends with Jimmy and Boris bound in a hideout and a gunman preparing to act.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
