What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen search for their editor, Perry White, after he fails to meet them at the Metropolis Hotel. White had been defying a new owner of the Daily Planet, Homer Smith, who ordered the paper to attack the World Peace Federation. Clark and Jimmy trace a taxi that picked White up outside the Baltzen Building, but the driver they seek cannot be found. Clark begins to suspect the cab was a disguised vehicle used to take White away. Clark asks Jimmy to go straight home for his own safety, but a mysterious phone call sends Jimmy back out into the night.
