What happens
Superman, in the guise of Clark Kent, is at Professor Twiddle's home in Metropolis, working the radar control board. The professor's radar rocket, carrying Jimmy Olsen and Poco, is stranded in space after the radar beam guiding it failed. Superman and the assistant Gus try to restore the beam and bring the rocket back. Inside the rocket, Professor Twiddle, Jimmy and Poco approach the moon and look down on its unseen side. Jimmy and Professor Twiddle discuss oxygen supplies and the mechanism that should turn the rocket back toward Earth. Once the rocket touches the moon, it fails to turn around, leaving the travellers stuck there.
