What happens
Superman waits at the control board for the tiny silver rocket to return from its flight to the moon, but it has landed on the barren lunar surface instead. Professor Twiddle, Jimmy Olsen and Pogo are trapped inside, arguing over how to repair it and how little oxygen remains. Realizing they cannot launch the rocket, the professor decides to step outside to look for a way to survive, and the two boys follow him. The transcript breaks off as they face strange creatures emerging from the ground while Superman sets out through space to find them. The series is The Adventures of Superman, first aired February 22, 1946.
