What happens
Jimmy Olsen and Beanie Martin are captured by the racketeers Professor Blessing and Froggy after trying to recover money swindled from Perry White's cook by a bogus song publishing company. Left tied up in the professor's locked office, the two young men knock over a smoking cigar stand, and fire spreads through the old building. Meanwhile Clark Kent learns of a dynamite plot against the Daily Planet press and argues with Perry White, who wants to confront the racketeers directly. Later, Perry White is attacked outside his suburban home in Brentwood. This is an episode of The Adventures of Superman, a radio serial first broadcast on December 12, 1946.
