What happens
Jimmy Olsen and Beanie Martin, reporters at the Daily Planet, suspect that a song publisher named Professor Blessing is swindling Pocko, Jimmy's friend, by taking his song and asking for money to publish it. Posing as gullible investors, the two boys agree to pay $250 in marked bills. Their scheme is not as secret as they believe, however, since the racketeers have recognized Jimmy's name from a newspaper story. Professor Blessing begins to grow suspicious and summons the boys into his inner office, where his henchman Froggy stands guard at the door. The episode of The Adventures of Superman from December 11, 1946 ends with the boys in apparent danger.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
