What happens
Clark Kent and Inspector Henderson pursue the fortune teller Zara and the lawyer Harris after they run an inheritance racket that has left reporter Lois Lane and the elderly Miss Louisa missing. Police find fingerprints of a small-time crook named Pinky Davis in Lois's apartment, and Zara's sister Nella is questioned at the women's detention court. Inspector Henderson resists charging her and instead proposes releasing her under surveillance, in hopes she will lead them to her brother. The episode is part seven of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on January 17, 1947.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
