What happens
Superman tracks down racketeer Brock Nielsen, who has threatened to harm Daily Planet editor Perry White if the paper runs another story about his housing swindle. Clark Kent has learned Nielsen's address, and Superman confronts Nielsen in his apartment, where Nielsen refuses to reveal White's location. Nielsen is sent to the rooftops, and then Superman pursues the matter further. Meanwhile, Nielsen's henchmen Joe and Eddie hold White in a warehouse, awaiting a signal from their boss. The Superman series, sponsored by Kellogg's Pep, is recorded for mutual broadcast. Original air date December 26, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
