What happens
Clark Kent and editor Perry White of the Daily Planet launch a campaign against a housing racket that cheats returning GIs and their families out of their savings with deposits on homes that will never be built. Police Inspector Henderson has warned them the racketeers may be dangerous, and Kent is confident the paper's exposure will drive them off. Soon after the first front-page story runs, a caller angrily demands that the Planet drop the story. The episode is part two of a 1946 serial, and the series stars the adventures of Superman.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
