What happens
Clark Kent, Jimmy Olsen and Perry White of the Daily Planet are drawn into a campaign against housing swindlers. After Jimmy and Beanie Martin are trapped in a burning office by racketeering song publishers, Superman rescues them. Afterward, Kent proposes that the newspaper ask readers to report suspected frauds. Inspector Henderson then describes a land-sale racket that targets returning veterans, sells land the sellers do not own and has already been tied to two murders. He asks the Daily Planet to publicize the scheme, and Kent and White agree to take it on despite the danger. This Superman radio adventure is part one of a serial, broadcast in December 1946.
Metropolis, including the Daily Planet offices, a burning office building and police headquarters.

Listen for: Inspector Henderson's description of the housing racket, and the warning that the Daily Planet may face serious personal danger.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
