What happens
Lois Lane and Horatio Horn hire a boat to investigate a sea monster that has frightened a fishing fleet off the Canadian coast. The boat is rammed and capsized, leaving the two reporters and Captain Marvel clinging to the wreckage in cold water. At the Daily Planet, Clark Kent grows anxious as the editor, Perry White, waits for news. Clark changes into Superman and flies to the village of San Salmo, where he learns from the hotel clerk that the boat has not returned. Superman heads out over the North Atlantic to search for the missing trio.
