What happens
Superman defends the city of Illyria alone at its gates as a Japanese army advances on it. Behind him, the townspeople wait in fear while he uses his strength to hold back the enemy troops. Meanwhile, Jimmy Olsen and an old man named Herk wait in the forest outside the walls, unsure of what is happening inside. Jimmy grows restless and insists on going to help, while the traitorous ruler of Illyria, Socky, watches events unfold. This episode is part 18 of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series first broadcast on February 7, 1945.
