What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen have traveled to the walled city of Valeria, where the grandmaster Socky has condemned an old man named Herkamin to hang. Clark, who is Superman in disguise, rescues Herkamin from the gallows and flies him to the forest outside the city. Jimmy waits there while Superman returns alone to Illyria, where he finds Socky with a hidden radio. Socky is forced to send orders to his henchmen, and Superman then goes to meet the Japanese troops gathering outside Valeria's gates. The series, The Adventures of Superman, first aired on February 6, 1945.
