What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen arrive in the city of Alaria at dawn and learn that Herkamene, a friend of Peyton's, has been condemned to death by the grandmaster Saki. They hurry through the streets, trace voices to a council chamber, and overhear the plotting against Herkamene. Jimmy begs Clark to act, but Clark has a plan of his own. The episode is part sixteen of The Adventures of Superman, and the transcript ends with Herkamene standing on the gallows in the public square, with Clark out of sight and Jimmy waiting nearby.
