What happens
Superman defends the city of Alaria against invaders, and Jimmy Olsen, searching for Clark Kent, rushes into a burning building. Socky and his henchmen have set fire to houses and public buildings, including Socky's own palace. Jimmy is pinned under a fallen beam, and Superman carries him to safety. Afterward, Superman helps Erkamim, Rev Peyton and the people of Alaria begin putting out the fires, while Erkamim urges his people to save their homes themselves. Socky is captured and brought to the square, where a crowd prepares to hang him. This is the nineteenth part of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on February 8, 1945.
