What happens

Superman, disguised as reporter Clark Kent, and Lois Lane are trapped in an abandoned timber camp shack by Matt Goulden, who has arranged a log jam on a river. Tied to chairs with young Ralph Marlow, Kent struggles to find a way to free himself without revealing his identity while the logs roll downstream toward them. In the meantime, Ralph explains details about Cass Stryker, Goulden's employer, and the local troubles involving the high school teachers and the Stone Ridge Examiner. In town, Mayor Stryker is visited by Perry White, editor of the Daily Planet, who came looking for his missing reporters. Goulden reports that the shack has been swept away, and the episode ends as the logs crash into the shack.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
