What happens
Clark Kent and his colleagues Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen attend a circus after the capture of the saboteur Barton. Jimmy is still shaken from being chained beside a black panther on a terrace. At the circus, the Vogel family, a high-wire act, perform above the crowd. Their wire snaps and they fall toward the ground, and the audience watches in horror. Clark Kent then says the fall was not an accident. The episode is the tenth part of the Golden Homing Pigeon story and is broadcast as part of The Adventures of Superman, first aired on April 10, 1944.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
