What happens
Superman investigates a mysterious green-skinned death linked to a voice that has been threatening the American war effort over the radio. After a transcontinental train engineer turns green and deliberately causes a head-on collision, Clark Kent races to the wreck and then flies to the airport hospital. There he discovers that the dead engineer's skin still glows a sickly green, and Dr. Raymond has been shaken by something he has learned. The episode is part four of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on January 19, 1944, and the lead performers are not named in the transcript.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
