What happens
Superman and Clark Kent, with Jimmy Olsen, have recovered the stolen explosive formula from Professor Palmer Graves and guarded it while Captain Callahan of the police is present in the professor's apartment. The three men are gassed by an unseen intruder who escapes from a hidden closet. Clark and Jimmy recover, and they discover a concealed passage linking the apartment to the next room, where bottles of gas are connected to the closet. The episode then shifts to a meeting in which a Japanese agent reports to the Leopard Woman that a rival agent has been defeated and the formula is to be taken to the War Department the next day. The Leopard Woman scoffs at the idea of an American Superman and asks for the route the armored car will take. Part of the series' 1942 run for Mutual, this is an installment from December 2, 1942.
